Multipliers of what?
Of the carrier. A ×2.00 fire multiplier means twice the umbral catalyst's fire attack rating — so the same spell produces a different number on every carrier, and on every upgrade level.
The combined figure is not published yet: the multipliers are extracted, but the arithmetic joining them has not been checked against the game.
About that wither damage
Wither is deliberately kept out of the damage figure above. Wither does not take health off. It turns that portion of the bar white — still there, but held.
Land another hit before they hit you and the white converts into real damage. Let them get one in on you first and they heal it straight back. It works on you in exactly the same way, which is the whole trade: wither rewards staying on the offensive and punishes backing off.
This one deals nothing but wither, so on impact it removes no health at all. That is not a weakness — it is the largest number in the game once it lands — but it only pays if you follow it up.
Confirmed in play. The game's tables carry the wither values but say nothing about how they resolve, so the behaviour here comes from watching health bars rather than from extraction.
