Questline — The Dark Crusader Mission, then Expose the Hallowed Sentinels

The senior Dark Crusader from the opening cinematic, who grants your starting boon and then asks you to prove the Hallowed Sentinels are corrupt. Eight items, one at a time.

The route

1. Skyrest main hall
   Exhaust every line — skipping costs you the Dark Crusader's Challenge gesture. He sets the campaign objective: cleanse the five Radiant Beacons.
   Doing that commits you to the Radiance ending.
2. Skyrest study and balcony — after: Rest at a vestige
   He relocates. This is where the real questline starts.
3. Pilgrim's Perch, Scourged Sister Delyth arena
   Bloody Aspergillum, on the statue to the left once the adds are cleared.
4. Pilgrim's Perch, lower scaffolding
   Book of Sin. Shift into Umbral, cross the bone bridge, soulflay the Umbral Belly.
5. Pilgrim's Perch, top platform · sources disagree, see below
   Hallowed Sentinel Scripture, in a cage next to a Stigma guarded by a Pureblade. From the Vestige of Blind Agatha, enter Umbral, work down through the water, then climb.
6. Forsaken Fen, hut near the Emergence Effigy
   Vanguard Barros' Rosary, reachable once the Mendacious Visage is dealt with. Expands his shop with the Vanguard set and four spells.
7. Lower Calrath rooftops
   Ravager Gregory's Rosary, on an impaled corpse up the ladder near the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch. Adds Ravager Gregory's Sword, the Greatshield and three armour pieces.
8. Revelation Depths
   Dark Crusader's Call, dropped by Harrower Dervla.
9. Tunnel between Upper Calrath and the Sunless Skein
   Umbral Tome. From the Vestige of Hooded Antuli, backtrack, find the mining shaft, climb the spiral stair, drop to a beam, shift into Umbral through the bars, soulflay the Belly. He only accepts it after Dervla is dead. Handing it over moves him into Molhu's room.
10. Tower of Penance
    Perception Wisp. After taking the Rebirth Chrysalis, leave the cell, drop to the platform below, break the planks over a Stigma and soulflay it.
    Handing this over closes his shop permanently and sends him to the Sunless Skein.
11. Sunless Skein, beside the poison pit
    From the Vestige of Hooded Antuli take the first ladder right. This conversation is required or Dunmire's Ring never spawns.
12. Mother's Lull
    Beat Harrower Dervla and The Unbroken Promise, buy an Umbral Scouring Clump from Molhu for 50 Umbral Scourings, use it at the well. Dunmire's Ring and Rosary are beside it.
13. Tunnel near the Vestige of Hooded Antuli, left path with the lit torch
    His body is there. Looting it completes the quest.

• Costly: His shop closes permanently the moment you hand over the Perception Wisp. Buy every Neophyte, Orian Preacher, Vanguard and Ravager piece and every spell first.
• Costly: Do not tell Pieta or Stomund about the task to expose the Sentinels. The consequence is not documented; avoid the option.
• Costly: Skip the Sunless Skein conversation and Dunmire's Ring never appears at the well.
• Budget 50 Umbral Scourings for Molhu's Scouring Clump or the quest cannot be finished.
• He dies no matter what. There is no outcome where he walks away.
