He claims descent from Antanas and asks politely for your lamp. He is lying, and he will eventually try to take it.
Run-ending mistakes

- Skyrest balcony Exhaust every line. He tells the Antanas story and asks for the lamp.
- Skyrest, by the Vestige of Ethryg — after: Kill The Congregator of Flesh in Forsaken Fen He points you at the Fief and hands over the Fief Key and the Map of the Fief of the Chill Curse.Miss the conversation and both items drop on the floor where he stood, so the key cannot be lost.
- Skyrest — after: Kill the Spurned Progeny · optional He has gone ahead. His Elegantly Penned Note is where he stood.
- Fief of the Chill Curse, icy tunnel After the axe-throwing creature dies, a trap drops. Standing anywhere in its radius is an instant kill. That was him. Past it, pick up the Halting Gesture.
- Skyrest, in an alcove He admits he lost his Book of Lineage in the scuffle.
- Skyrest upper reaches, tower behind a door Recover the book from a Stigma. The door only opens from the Upper Calrath shortcut, so push into Upper Calrath first.
- Skyrest Give the book back. He offers himself as a summon and repositions near the Upper Calrath Plaza.Fails if: Refusing ends the questline permanently.
- Lightreaper arena exit alley Summoning him at the Lightreaper changes nothing. Leaving through the exit alley, he ambushes you for the lamp and becomes a boss fight.

- The Lightreaper fight ends his story. Do not rush it if you still want him as a summon.
- This questline can still be finished after the final boss, so there is little time pressure otherwise.

What the game says about Andreas of Ebb
Andreas' Book of Lineage is far from the only text to state that Antanas bravely led his armies into battle clad in resplendent armour bearing the face of a lion, and so before leaving for Mournstead, Andreas commissioned the creation of something similar to symbolise his own fearlessness.
